Dear students,
As part of the Tour de France of our Industries organized by Bpifrance and Opco 2i, you are invited to a morning of discovery and analysis of the industrial world through the company BIC, the great artisan and creator of the 4-colour pen, on Monday, November 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The BIC Factory, voted one of France’s favorite companies, designs everyday products with its iconic 4-colour pen as a trademark.
For its 3rd edition, the Tour de France of our Industries stops at the BIC factory to showcase one of the flagships of French industry, whose reputation was built on the invention of the 4-colour pen. With the strong ambition of introducing industry to everyone, TDFI features 14 events bringing together young people and business leaders through factory visits and executive meetings.
You will take part in exclusive discussions with the site director, as well as a factory tour to understand its operations and the variety of professions that drive it. You will also join a workshop focused on innovation and the modernization of factories with the company’s management team and Bpifrance’s innovation experts.
📌 Practical information:
- A shuttle will pick you up at 8:30 a.m. at Val d’Europe station.
The entire day will be conducted in English.
The visit will be followed by lunch and a workshop at Bpifrance’s offices in Maisons-Alfort.
