Responsible for designing, developing from scratch, implementing and leading a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management framework, to effectively support the development and the performance of the organisation, at Corporate level and across the whole assets portfolio.
In my 3 years tenure, I have built and managed a team of 7 people, with 4 Regional Risk Managers and 3 Corporate ERM Managers, and established a network of 100+ risk champions across the business units and the portfolio, to develop and embed Risk Management in the organization.

I led during a year the task force put in place to manage and mitigate the potential effects of COVID 19 outbreak on the business and to more broadly enhance business resilience from a risk and business continuity perspective.

I was also engaged into the transformation process of the Company leading to a full revamping of its organisation and the creation of 4 regional entities.
I contributed to the development of the ESG processes and led Climate Change Risk Management and the initiation of TCFD reporting process.

I reported to the CEO, then to the Chief Risk Strategy and Sustainability Officer , and also to the Board Risk and Compliance Committee and to the Board that I was attending.

The Expressway Programme is a 40+Billion $US programme, with over 30 projects, for upgrading the road network and associated infrastructure in Qatar. KBR is the Programme Management Consultant for Ashghal, Qatar’s Public Works Authority.

Leadership of the Programme Risk Management process and member of the Programme Management Core Team :
• Management of the Risk Management team.
• Responsible for ensuring and supporting the management of risks (technical, contractual, legal, financial, strategic, environmental...) across the Programme, in close association with operational and support teams.
• Ensuring coaching and training of teams on Risk Management, to develop Risk Management awareness and buy-in.

• Responsible for ensuring and supporting the management of risks (technical, contractual, legal, financial, strategic, environmental...) in close association with operational and support teams.
• Coaching and training of teams on Risk Management.
• Assistance to Qatar Rail to develop the Risk Management process at project level and at overall Rail Program Level and to build a risk culture and awareness in this newly created organisation.

Responsible for Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) : creating, deploying and leading the overall ERM policy of the Group
• Definition of the ERM process and policy: Group standards and procedures drafting, functional management and coaching of a network of 30 Risk Management coordinators in all the subsidiaries and the operational and support units.
• Leadership for ERM implementation : driving change management actions and bringing support to operational teams and support functions, in order to manage risks and to embed ERM in the Group culture and to make it an integrated part of the management, the strategic and the decision making processes.
• Corporate and "local" risk mapping : support to risk owners and business managers for risk identification and implementation of mitigation plans.
• Reporting to the Group CEO, to the Executive Committee and to the Board on all aspects related to ERM to ensure a shared and coherent vision on risk issues and the implementation of adequate actions, arising from ERM, Internal Control and Internal Audit processes

• Definition and implementation of the Risk Management process and support to project teams to efficiently apply it.
• Qualitative and quantitative risk analyses, mitigation plans definition and implementation.
• Validation and supervision of the Risk Management system put in place by the main contractors (Schlumberger, Technip, Saipem, Kvaerner, FMC, Hyundai, Samsung…) and coaching of their teams.
