Marie-Charlotte Mevel’s practice focuses on complex M&A transactions involving listed and non-listed companies, both domestic and cross-border, including stock and assets sales, group reorganizations and strategic alliances, with a particular focus on regulated industries, over 20 jurisdictions, including emerging markets.

Marie-Charlotte advises industrial companies, insurers and banks, with a particular focus on pharmaceutical and medical device companies, on national and cross-border acquisitions and divestments (share interests, marketed products and manufacturing sites), on joint ventures, strategic partnerships, product development (R&D and clinical trials agreements), strategic collaborations and licenses, industrial agreements (manufacturing and supply agreements), and regulatory matters in connection with M&A transactions in the sector.

She speaks fluent French and English.

Marie-Charlotte was also seconded from DLA Piper in 2018 for Proparco, Paris (Legal department – Equity investment team), Proparco being a subsidiary of Agence Française de Développement (AFD) focused on supporting the development of businesses or financial institutions across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle-East, notably, by making minority equity investments.
