There’s more to Hamburg than just ’Moin Moin’, the harbour, the Alster Lake, the Reeperbahn or Labskaus – there’s also Gin! We are delighted to invite you to our next upcoming regional event:
Region North: Get-together - Exploring the Gin Sul Distillery and Der Player Restaurant
Gabriele Maessen (PDP ’01) President of the German Chapter and I, Tobias Brown (PDP ’96) are delighted to invite you to join a casual evening in the local ‘Kiez’ of Ottensen in the heart of Hamburg.
We will meet for a tour of the Gin Sul distillery, now a world renowned and yet young distiller of fine Dry Gin with roots in Portugal founded in 2013 by Stephan Garbe. There’ll also be a chance to savour a Gin Sul Tonic when we’re there!
Afterwards, we have a reservation for dinner (and tour) at Der Player, one of the hottest restaurant openings in town with its’ bar, restaurant, club and playground concept spread over three floors. At that time the Red Bull "Dance Your Style" press event will also be taking place with Hip hop dance battles and DJ planned. This will be open to everyone and be a good combination of restaurant and playground!
