Presentation of the ESSEC Alumni Impact Workshop-1 hour to understand biodiversity in business with Jules Chandellier (E19) and Marie-Anne Vincent (E05)

The collapse of biodiversity is being observed all over the planet, and the rate of its erosion is accelerating. One million species are threatened with extinction, and human activities are at the heart of this process.

How can organizations address the challenge of biodiversity loss?

This is an increasingly pressing question being posed to all actors in society. Large corporations, SMEs, start-ups, as well as associations and public authorities, must all address the issue of biodiversity loss on a large scale to promote practices that respect planetary boundaries, consume fewer resources, emit less greenhouse gasses, and produce minimal waste.

Through this webinar, you will better understand the biodiversity challenges in business to act at your own level.

📣 On the agenda :

  • What is biodiversity, and what are its challenges ?

  • How can we take action within a company ?
  • What criteria should be considered to assess a company's economic model and what solutions can be implemented ?
