Dear all,

Join us for this roundtable discussion, led and moderated by students of the ESSEC Sports Chair and organised with the Club ESSEC Alumni Sustainable Business which explores how sports marketing strategies can be harnessed for social and environmental impact, including raising awareness and funds for the climate crisis, for social exclusion and poverty, and for health issues such as prostate cancer. The dialogue will delve into innovative approaches that leverage digital platforms to foster community engagement and support, and explore the importance of sustainable living practices in combating climate change.

Estelle works with high-level athletes and institutions on nutrition and health prevention, drawing on her passion for traditional knowledge and practices gained from traveling and engaging with local communities.

Lucie de Clerck (E08) is an ESSEC graduate and a social entrepreneur. For the last 7 years, she has been Managing Director of Entourage, a social startup which aims to fight social exclusion of homeless people. To achieve this, Entourage raises public awareness on exclusion, and builds citizen support networks to help excluded people bounce back. Entourage also launched LinkedOut, a project which focuses on professional inclusion of people in precarious life situations.

In the last few years, Entourage has built innovative sports partnerships to promote its vision. In 2020, Thomas Ruyant, one of the best skippers, and its sponsor Advens, offered Entourage the naming of their brand new IMOCA boat, which won the most prestigious races (Route du Rhum, Transat Jacques Vabre, a favourite at the upcoming Vendée Globe), giving the NGO unprecedented visibility. In 2021, Entourage reproduced this pattern in the football field with the Redstar team, with the support of Randstad. Under Lucie’s leadership, sports has gradually become a key component of Entourage’s impact strategy.

Lucie left the operational team a few weeks ago, and remains involved with Entourage as a co-founder and board member. As a consultant, she continues to strive to connect and build bridges between different worlds, and foster innovative collaborations for the common good.
