Paddock & Network brings the ESSEC community together in Deauville

From 23 to 26 July 2026, the Pôle International du Cheval Longines Deauville will host the new edition of the Jump'Estival by ESSEC, a show jumping competition open to all and organised by the ESSECavaliers association.

The Jump'Estival by ESSEC returns to Deauville from 23 to 26 July. Could you tell us more about it?

The Jump'Estival was created six years ago by ESSEC students with a passion for riding, who wanted to build something big. It is a show jumping competition open to amateurs and professionals alike. After three editions at the Haras de Jardy, the event moved to Deauville, where it is now co-organised with the Pôle International du Cheval Longines Deauville. The 2025 edition brought together nearly 2,000 riders over four days, a crowd of more than 4,000 people and over 50,000 people reached on social media. The 2026 novelty is the Coupe des Grandes Écoles: a class reserved for students from schools that are members of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles.

This year you are offering an event dedicated to alumni, named Paddock & Network. What does it involve?

It is a unique event designed to connect students and alumni around sport and the equestrian events sector, with the aim of fostering exchange, cohesion and mentoring. This occasion has been designed specifically for the ESSEC community. It is built around three highlights. First, a guided tour of the venue with Franck Lemestre, director of the Pôle International du Cheval. Then, immersion in the competition by following the classes, and finally a cocktail reception that gives pride of place to exchanges between alumni and students.

What is ESSECavaliers' ambition through this project?

To connect the alumni network around sport and events, at a sporting occasion driven by ESSEC students, and to strengthen the school's presence at a leading equestrian event. The gathering is aimed as much at students interested in the business of sport as at graduates active in the sector, notably through the Club Business Sport.
