Marie Berengere Chapoton is a visionary hospitality leader with 25 years of global luxury experience spanning 11 countries across five continents. Armed with prestigious credentials from Switzerland's Glion Hotel School and an MBA from IMHI (ESSEC/Cornell) in 2004, she has shaped exceptional guest experiences at world-renowned brands including Sofitel, Fairmont, Raffles and now Rosewood.
Having orchestrated four luxury hotel openings, two major repositioning, and managed high-impact operations during Brazil’s World Cup and Olympic Games, Marie Berengere brings unparalleled expertise in creating personalized experiences that blend local culture with global luxury standards. Known for her balanced leadership approach, she has built a reputation for developing strong teams, cultivating a service-first culture, guiding hotels through periods of transformation, and fostering deep connections with owners, shareholders, clients and local communities.
Today, as Managing Director of Rosewood São Paulo, Marie Bérengère oversees the property’s strategy, service culture, and performance. She brings to her role a refined global perspective, multilingual fluency, and an unwavering commitment to creating meaningful, personalized luxury experiences.
