Bitcoin was created in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto on the back of the 2008 financial crisis. He/she/they set in motion a transformation of how the world now thinks about payments, lending, trading and generally finance.
Cryptocurrencies now have more than 2.5 trillion market capitalization and institutions are flocking in.
This event will provide insights on what crypto means for finance in the digital age and simplify the crypto ecosystem for our audience.
Panelists come from a wide range of crypto companies or institutions with an interest in crypto :
- Celsius, the largest crypto lender with 20bn USD under management
- WorldPay, the largest payment service provider, providing fiat ramps to most crypto exchanges
- PWC, the most crypto focused of the “big 4”
- Bullish, a crypto exchange funded by Peter Thiel
