Artificial intelligence is no longer just a technological breakthrough: it has become a geopolitical accelerator reshaping alliances, rivalries, and strategic dependencies. As states and corporations race to secure talent, compute, data, and standards, AI stands simultaneously as the new frontier of innovation and the new frontline of power competition. From the EU–US–China triangle to emerging coalitions led by India or the Gulf, the global landscape is shifting at unprecedented speed.

This debate will examine how AI redistributes influence, redefines economic security, and forces governments and businesses to rethink their strategic positioning. It will explore what leadership means in a world where technological capabilities increasingly dictate geopolitical weight.

Taking place on the eve of the 2026 AI Summit hosted by India and co-chaired by France — one year after the 2025 Paris AI Action Summit hosted by France and co-chaired by India — this webinar will also unpack why AI governance has moved to the very core of the Franco-Indian Strategic Partnership, and what this means for the future of global technology diplomacy.
