As a reminder, the Olympic Torch Relay is a tradition associated with the modern Olympic Games. It involves the ceremonial passing of the Olympic flame from one torchbearer to another, symbolizing the continuity and connection between the ancient and modern Olympic Games. The relay typically begins several months before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games and travels through various countries, ultimately arriving at the host city where the Games will take place.
