Learning does not stop with a diploma. At ESSEC Alumni, the conviction is clear: professional and personal development continues throughout life. To support graduates on this ongoing journey, Claire Hallier, Head of Lifelong Learning, presents a rich and constantly evolving offer.

ESSEC Alumni: What does the Lifelong Learning offer for alumni consist of?

Claire Hallier: The offer is structured around three complementary pillars: business studies, training and events.

First, business studies and analyses, with partners such as Xerfi or Cap Financials, provide access to key economic and sectoral data to understand trends and assess the health of French companies.

Thanks to Edflex, our alumni have access to thousands of varied resources, ranging from professional development to more technical skills such as Excel, AI and more. They can also learn over 30 languages via Assimil, complete 25 hours of micro-learning with Axa Climate’s Climate School, or even obtain ESSEC MOOCs certifications on Coursera free of charge.

Every month we offer a curated selection of content and, through the Impact Learning Hub, tools to better grasp environmental and social challenges.

Finally, our numerous events and conferences allow the community to meet, exchange ideas and gain inspiration on new topics and trends.

E.A: Which services are currently the most successful?

C. Hallier: The most popular are undoubtedly Xerfi and the Monthly Selection, which are especially appreciated for their relevance and usefulness.

In addition, I encourage our alumni to explore more of Edflex and Assimil, which are genuine treasure troves of content accessible at their own pace, with high-quality formats to learn and progress whenever and wherever they wish.

E.A: How do you see the offer evolving?

C. Hallier: We will strengthen our partnership with ESSEC Executive Education, and thus offer short courses, masterclasses and events under preferential conditions. We also aim to provide platforms that are increasingly personalised and customisable, in order to enhance each person’s learning experience. The goal is clear: to support every alumnus in a way that suits their path and their needs.

E.A: What message would you like to share with alumni?

C. Hallier: Lifelong Learning is not just an offer, it is a mindset. Whether you are a young graduate at the start of your career, an entrepreneur, a business buyer, in career transition or simply keen to develop new skills, you will find suitable resources. The key is to never stop learning, in order to keep growing and reinventing yourself.
