Welcome to the new ESSEC Alumni volunteers!

ESSEC Alumni mobilises more than 800 volunteers, who run over 83 clubs and 92 international chapters. Discover the new volunteer presidents who have recently joined the community!


Sector clubs 

Business Angels Club

Jacques-Etienne Grandjean (E82) succeeds Patrick Legrand (E74) and takes up the club’s co-presidency alongside Didier Boullery (E80). The club meets every two weeks and is part of the Paris Business Angels network.

Culture and Management

Sylvie Paul (E95) succeeds Clémentine Marcelli (E19)

Digital & Technology 

Luca Rotoni (EXEC MBA 16) is back at the helm and succeeds Andréa Dih Kahn (ESSEC MBA 12). The Club organises innovative recurring events such as the “Digital & Innovation Champions” breakfasts. 

Finance, Banking and Insurance

Lory Jacquet-Cretides (E22) has joined Aymeric Stievenart (E00) and Laure LEMAIGNEN (E99) as co-president. The Club is expanding its events for young professionals to raise awareness of and introduce the many careers in finance: “Boost your career in finance”, organised in January 2025 and 2026. 


Luxury

Aurélie Desombre (EXEC PROG 24) succeeds Cécile Dubal du Chesney (E97) and becomes co-president alongside Karine Cevoz-Goyat (E93). The Club organises many successful events, including the “Global Luxury Outlook” evening with Bain & Company. At the end of 2025, a new format of regular events was launched, “A unique perspective with…”, featuring a guest speaker such as Laurent Boillot, President of the Comité Colbert.

Regional Clubs

Aquitaine

Petra Horakova (EXEC PROG 23) succeeds Jonathan Leroy (E11). Next event not to be missed: 29 June, with Vincenzo Vinzi, Dean and President of ESSEC Business School, and the ESSEC Alumni team.

Hauts-de-France

Hélène Blary (Buissart) (E04) and Céline Caudron (E05) succeed Eric Mariaud (E84).

Provence

Nathalie Blanc (BBA 02) succeeds Christophe Dubail (M98) and Alain Burger (E73). In March 2025, the Club organised an innovative conference, the “AI Summit Provence: meeting the new  AI-Driven world”, with Marie-Pierre Shickel (E95), Managing Director of ESSEC Alumni, Vincenzo Vinzi, Dean and President of ESSEC Business School, and Julien Malaurent, Deputy Managing Director for Executive Education and Corporate Relations at ESSEC.

Katia Thomas-Labbas (EXEC PROG 15) succeeds Yassine Zakaria (EXEC PROG 22) and Nathalie Naufal (EXEC PROG 22).

South Africa Chapter

Christophe Dominique (E89) has resumed the presidency of the South Africa Chapter.

Saudi Arabia & Bahrain Chapters

Romain Lavignie (E03) & Nessrine Ferhat (BBA 03) have taken over the presidency of the Saudi Arabia and Bahrain Chapters. At the start of 2025, the two Chapters organised a reception in honour of Vincenzo Vinzi, Dean & President of ESSEC Business School, in Riyadh.

Austria Chapter 

Pauline Duffner (E18) has resumed the presidency of the Austria Chapter.

Xiaomei YANG (M19) has resumed the presidency of the Beijing Chapter.

United States Chapter 

Anne de Louvigny Stone (E83) has resumed the presidency of the United States Chapter. Each year, the Chapter organises a major gala in New York in support of the ESSEC Foundation. On this occasion, a Visionary Award is presented to an alumnus. The 2025 Visionary Award was presented to Hervé Hoppenot (E83), President and CEO of Incyte, in recognition of his commitment to medical research and the development of innovative treatments in haematology-oncology.

Japan Chapter

Arnaud Le Demazel (E12) succeeded Laurent Wolff (E91) at a special Brittany-themed evening at the Breizh Café in Tokyo.

Lebanon Chapter

Farid Chehab (E08) has become President of the Lebanon Chapter.

Jean-Frédéric Lematre (M05) has resumed the presidency of the Los Angeles Chapter

Cécile Tozzini (EXEC M16) founded and became President of the Mauritius Chapter. At the end of 2025, she organised a conference on “Implementing AI in business: challenges and examples”.

Gautier Mignot (E91) has resumed the presidency of the Nigeria Chapter.
